An easy breakfast recipe that can be tweaked based on the ingredients available in the pantry except for the base ingredient - rolled oats. I have used gluten free oats here. You can use the regular oats which you have been using or easily available in the super market nearby.
INGREDIENTS
Dry ingredients
400gm rolled oats
70gm almond, peeled and sliced
50gm walnut, roughly chopped
50gm hazelnuts, roughly chopped
50gm tarted cherries, roughly chopped
20gm pumpkin seeds
15gm flaxseeds
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1/4 tsp rock salt
Wet ingredients
1 tbsp raw honey
2 tsp desi ghee (clarified butter)
METHOD
In a large bowl, mix all the dry ingredients.
Add raw honey and ghee to the dry ingredients and mix evenly. Spread out the mixture on a baking tray and bake it for ~15 minutes in a preheated oven at 180C.
Once done, let it cool down and store it in a airtight jar / container.
Granola can be eaten for breakfast along with milk / yogurt / fruits.
NOTES
The almonds are soaked overnight and their skin is peeled. Feel free to use them as it is.
Feel free to vary the nuts and dry fruits as per your choice.
